| Francesca is playing chess! She has a ‘permanent’ game going with Daddy. That chess board is setup continually in the sun room. Fortunately, she had another set so she could play with Granddad. Don’t be too impressed however. She only wins about 1 out of 3 games. |

| We had a Budget Lesson. There was a discussion about having a certain amount of money and when that was spent, nothing else could be purchased. After a practice session at home, we had the real thing at a toy store. Francesca knew exactly what she wanted because she had spotted it while shopping for a friend's birthday present two days before. Granddad passed out the money and the hunt was on. Turned out that what Francesca had in mind was over budget. That was the end of the lesson. Granddad is such a pushover. |

| Our longest outing was to the Children's Museum. First stop, as always, the Carousel and then "Make Your Own Boat". Next stop was a climb through the Dinosaur Home. |
