THE JOY OF FLOWERS

Heritage Ladies Luncheon       June 5, 2002

Welcome to Tyler's Cove, Murrells Inlet.
We'll take your money now!

Janet Shaw, co-chairperson, with Rosemary Wainscott and Charlotte Kennerly, co-hostesses, welcomed guests.

Heritage residents and guests sat at tables decorated with Mexican heather plants and begonias.

Heritage Resident, Norma Anderson, was the guest speaker.

"I've used this same knife for 50 years!"

"Keep turning the arrangement as you work."

Norma demonstrating the basics of flower arranging.

"Flower arranging should be a pleasure."

"REMEMBER - A DANDELION IN A COKE BOTTLE CAN BE BEAUTIFUL IF IT PLEASES YOU!"

Heritage Garden Club       June 7, 2002

"WE'RE GOING TO A GARDEN PARTY..."

Round tables were elegantly set with white tablecloths, fine china and silverware.
Beautiful cut flowers adorned the center of each table.

The outgoing co-chairperson, Carolyn Romyn, stands between
Cathy Filiatreau and Jackie Bradley, co-chairs for the 2002-2003 year.

Hostess, Bonnie Geitz, shared her specialty quesadillas with Patty Bogan and guests.

Appetizers and salads were the fare for the day. They were complimented by distinctive centerpieces.

Garden Club members enjoyed the hors doerves.

"A Toast!"

Even Bonnie's dog, Oakie, enjoyed the festivities and the food.

Choosing a centerpiece was a fun but difficult choice for the winners of the drawing.

The Garden Club meets the first Friday of each month at the owner's clubhouse.
Cathy Hershkowitz's grandson is considering membership some time in the future!

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE, TOO!
