This page was prepared before the hurricane Katrina formed. We sympathize with the residents of New Orleans and everyone in the path of this hurricane. Our prayers are with those who lost friends and loved ones and hope that all who were affected can recover. In fact, both authors of this page have relatives or friends in New Orleans. We decided to publish as planned earlier. We view this overview of our pleasant experiences in New Orleans as a tribute to the city and its residents and hope that it will recover quickly.
