Heritage Treasure Hunt
On Sunday, August 16, Heritage held a "Treasure Hunt". The official statement was: "Your team's challenge is to crack a series of word clues, each leading to the location of treasure tokens and next clue for the subsequent locations." Golf carts or bicycles but no other motorized transport were allowed. All treasure tokens and clues were within the boundaries of Heritage. Naturally, after the hunt, everyone gathered for food and the winners received a real trophy.

| The contest was well organized. If a team "got stuck" on a clue for 10 minutes, they could call the referee for a second clue or ask one of the roving committee members. However, everyone had to yell "Hi Neighbor" on passing another team. Failure to do so resulted in deductions by the referee. |
