| On a later day, another group played mixed doubles. Erica K, Kathy L and Shirley M teamed with Jerry E, Ross L and Jim Miller. In fact, they were practicing for a challenge match with a team from DeBordieu. |

| How did our heroes do? The final result was a tie 3-3. However ... DeBordieu brought in players from Litchfield, including their assistant tennis pro! We consider the result a victory. | |
