The Outreach Farm is a non-profit organization that raises beef cattle and provides high quality beef and produce, at no cost, to non-profit organizations that feed the hungry in South Carolina. They provide services that range from feeding the hungry at a soup kitchen to taking care of, educating and feeding disadvantaged youth.

A number of Heritage residents support this unique effort as volunteers. They include Bob & Barb M., Dick & Helen C., Al and Carrie S., Phyliss and Arlin J., Chuck and Patti B. You may want to read more about the Outreach Farm by visiting their web site.

The Outreach Farm held an Open House at the farm's main site in Hemingway on June 10, 2006. This page describes that event.
