There was a Christmas Cookie Exchange in December 2006 in the Clubhouse. Participants brought 3 dozen cookies, 1 dozen to present on a plate for tasting and 2 dozen to be selected by others to take home. Your webmaster didn't bake but was allowed to taste. Although he didn't take any pictures, he did compile the receipes that were sent to him before hand. Participants received a neat little recipe booklet. If you weren't there, you can make your own collection of Heritage Christmas Cookie Recipes.

Recipe Booklet from the Christmas Cookie Exchange 2006

Participants who submitted recipes to the Christmas Cookie Exchange received a fancy booklet with their recipes. If you would like to make your own booklet, the necessary files are available along with suggested instructions. These are in MS Word format. (If you don't have MS Word, just let me know and I will put them is pdf format for you -- the same format Laura uses for the Broadcast e-mails.) Just download the files, print them and have at it.

The Booklet Assembly
The Booklet Trimming the Edges (see instructions)

The quickest: Download one zipped file CookieExchange. Save it some convenient place, e.g. your Desktop on in 'My Documents'. Just rememember where you saved it. Run this program; either double click or single click on it. This will unzip the instructions, the recipe files and the booklet cover. The default location is the folder 'C:\CookieExchange' but you can choose a different location if you like. Just follow the instructions.

The slowest: If you don't like using a compressed file, you can download and save each individual file where ever you like. We recommend that you make a separate folder for these file before downloading.
