| The annual Heritage Dinner Dance was held at Pawleys Plantation (as usual). The entertainment was the band 'Karen & Carl', a repeat performance. Guests were greeted with a champagne toast and a warm welcome. Door prizes were displayed in the foyer and hot appetizers were passed by the wait staff.
Everyone then moved into the main banquet hall for drinks and more appetizers before dinner. The choice of entrees this year were a beef tenderloin/salmon combination or Chicken Roulade. Both were well received. Dessert was a chocolate/raspberry concoction that your webmaster can't describe but remembers how delicious it was.
Thanks to Penny Atwell for co-hosting this year's event with me. Not only is she beautiful and smart, but she calmed me down during those periods when I was a nervous wreck thinking about all the things that could go wrong (but didn't).
