| Heritage is lucky to have our own resident band, Longitude, which plays a number of local venues as well as at Heritage. May was a busy month. The band played at the Island Bar and Grill and at Hog Heaven. The gigs were well attended by "outsiders" as well as friends of the band. |

On Thursday, July 3, Longitude and Friends started the holiday weekend with a party at the marina that was open to all residents. Featured performers included: Sal Shaves Sr. on the squeezebox and harmonicas from Ontario, Canada, Drew Decker from California on the bass guitar, locals Sal Shaves Jr. on lead guitar , Mark Carr drummer and near neighbor from Hagley, Dean Black on pedal steel guitar. A good time was had by all and the band hopes to continue to offer live music once in a while at the marina for the enjoyment of the community. Musical friends are welcome. |
